What Is Snus?

Snus is a type of tobacco free smokeless nicotine product that originated in Sweden and is extremely popular across Europe. A snus pouch is placed between the upper or lower lip & gum for at least 15 minutes. After 15 minutes majority of the nicotine has been released from the pouch but a snus pouch can be left in for as long as half an hour.

Compared to vaping, snus is far more discrete and can be used in places where smoking is prohibited such as on planes and in particular venues. It's almost impossible to see a snus pouch in ones mouth making it perfect for those who enjoy the euphoric effects of nicotine but don't want to look foolish puffing on a burnt calculator.

Additionally, snus is made with far less harmful chemicals compared to vapes which contain chemical cocktails to create flavours. Snus also sits in the mouth meaning your lungs aren't constantly being filled with smoke like they are when vaping which is why snus has become so popular with professional athletes around the globe. Although snus is believed to be less harmful than vaping, it doesn't make it harmless and all individuals should do their own research.
